Tour durch Wien repeats last year's edition for 2024.

A rider has seven days between Monday and Sunday during the hours of 6:00-20:00 to complete the stages within that region. Riders can ride the stages in the region any time and as many times as they wish in those seven days. We also continue to offer our unique Night Stage again, but in a non-competitive manner, as an arranged group ride. We feel this will add more to the enjoyment factor for all. Stage times and GPS data will be retrieved from Strava. Points will be awarded for various criteria being met, such as completing a stage and achieving fastest times.

This is a different kind of cycle challenge compared to others - will your legs survive until the end?

Why do we ride a stage at night?

From the beginning, we wanted to add something different to our event that differs from others - a new way of thinking about your cycling. With lots of corners, some straights, tram lines, bridges, Alte AKH, this stage really has a bit of everything to peak your interest and enjoyment. For those who haven't ridden at night, it's a totally different experience - a different visual experience, with minimal vehicles/traffic, pedestrians are scarce - it has been a pleasant surprise for our previous competitors. Formula 1 introduced night racing just over a decade ago, so why couldn't the Tour durch Wien?
